True Worshippers
The great tabernacle of God was completed in the eleventh year of king Solomon's reign. The people of Israel took seven
years to build the temple. "Seven" is the number of completion. By this time, Israel had reached a place of security and
permanency in their spiritual and secular life, for they were living in the inheritance that God had appointed.
King David was the man of war, he fought and led in the great battles. His son, Solomon, was the prince of peace. He entered
into the inheritance which were won through David's victories.
During the consecration ceremony of the temple, all the holy vessels and the ark of the covenant were brought into the house
of God. The ark contained the Ten Commandments, which was written on two tablets of stone.
We too, have the same tablets and the ark of the covenant. However, in the new covenant, the Ten Commandments are
written on the "fleshly tablets" of our hearts (2 Cor. 3:3). And the Holy Spirit will raise up holy people who walk in
accordance to the commandments of the Lord.
As king Solomon was consecrating the temple, the singers began to worship the Lord. Here, there are three interesting things
to take note of:

Firstly, the singers were clothed in white linen (2 Chr. 5:12). It is a symbol of the righteousness of God (Rev. 19:8).
There are two kinds of righteousness:
(a) Imputed righteousness. This is God declaring us to be righteous.
(b) Actual righteousness. We becoming righteous in heart and in character.
Like a judge pardoning a sinner, God will impute righteousness into us. Nonetheless, our hearts and character should be
righteous as well. In the last days, the true worshippers must be totally clothed in righteousness.
Secondly, there were 120 singers (2 Chr. 5:12). This symbolizes the "end of all flesh" (Gen. 6:3). In Galatians 5:24,
it says, "And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." Our flesh must be crucified
on the cross. God is looking for true worshippers who are crucified with Christ.
Thirdly, the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound.. (2 Chr. 5:13). They were not only singing and playing as one, they were untied in heart, in spirit and in faith! The bible says that the place of agreement is the place of power.
Immediately, the power and presence of God filled the whole temple and all of them fell under the weight of the glory of God.
King Solomon's temple is a symbol of the church that God wants to raise up in the end times, our time. One that is filled by
true worshippers, righteous, holy and united.
